About the role
You'll be the brain behind our marketing output. You decide what we say, to who, and why. The copy, the angles, the personas, the briefs that feed into our design and edit teams — that's your world. You're not making the visuals, you're shaping the thinking behind them. You'll work closely with the founder on strategy and hand off clear briefs to the rest of the team.
Who you are
You think in campaigns, not captions. You've worked on brands you actually liked, and you care about the difference between clever and cute. You're just as comfortable in a strategy doc as you are writing the words that end up on a hang tag. You understand direct-response and what makes people click, but you also know when to slow down and let a brand breathe.
What you'll do
- Write ad copy, email sequences, landing pages, and product descriptions
- Develop hooks, headlines, and angles across campaigns and launches
- Define target personas, pain points, and messaging frameworks
- Write detailed briefs for design and edit so execution is crystal clear
- Build creative testing frameworks and iterate on what's working
- Stay close to what's moving in DTC, paid social, and adjacent brands
- Help develop the Offline collection and future sub-brands
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in creative strategy, copywriting, or performance marketing
- A portfolio with real ad copy, briefs, or campaign work we can look at
- You can turn a product feature into a reason someone cares
- Research-driven — you dig into audiences, competitors, and trends
- You write briefs that designers and editors actually want to receive
Nice to have
- Experience with DTC or e-commerce brands
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Library and TikTok Creative Center
- UGC strategy and creator brief experience
- Email marketing chops (Klaviyo, flows, campaigns)
- Comfortable reading ad dashboards and pulling real insights
- A point of view on phones, attention, and why any of this matters
